I don’t think I lost nearly as much water weight as I did on BluePrint, despite skipping roughly 1/3 of the juices. I was clearly livid by the time I finished on Friday evening. Overall, I loved their smoothies and milks, but I felt their juices needed a better balance of fruit and veggies to really get the full “benefits”. All in all, I think they can improve on their formula. But, if you already know that you love veggie juices and aren’t going to be scared off by them, but you don’t want to go as Spartan as a BluePrint, this could be a great way to hit the reset button. Don’t expect dramatic weight loss (if you’re trying to fit into a last minute dress or anything) but it does help to shift your mindset a little (even if that means being pissed off and realizing you could do this better on your own).
The day after the cleanse I had a granola bar before working out and was totally fine. I also had oatmeal for lunch and was still fine. And the GORGED on Chinese hot pot for dinner and several delicious, delicious cocktails. And was still, totally fine. I could not have eaten like that after BluePrint without serious negative side effects. So overall, it was a mostly win. I’d give this “cleanse” a C+, but a solid B+ for effort.
