Well Chitlins, The Holidays are officially upon us. Know how I know? Because all my cookie and pie recipes are blowin’ up. So I thought I’d make it easy for you. Got a cookie platter you’re steeling yourself to make this season? Let’s take a walk down memory lane and see what bountiful goods I have provided you with.
Now, despite the horrendous photo these Italian butter cookies are one of the most popular recipes on the blog. That’s because they’re awesome and endlessly adaptable.
My personal favorite are the Italian anise cookies. And this one is from the way back machine, before I even had a camera! Yikes.
If you’re feeling ambitious, these homemade fauxreos are pretty stellar.
Perhaps you want a classic sugar cookie? I got plenty of those for you!
Big soft fluffy cookies. These were made with Bailey’s but that’s totally (not) optional.
Perhaps you want a classic roll out cookie? Boom, gotchyah covered with those too. These bunnies would look adorable with little Santa hats on them, don’tchya think? Just swap out the lemon flavor for something more wintery like cinnamon or peppermint.
Maybe you’re more of a slice and bake gal (or guy). Swap out the lemon in these bad boys for some vanilla and use brown sugar instead of white and don’t tell me these don’t taste like butterscotch. Amazeballs.
Maybe you want something that is more crumbly and decadent? Almond crescents are definitely the cookies for you.
Or persnaps you’re more of a peanut butter dude? Classic peanut butter cookies from my Nona’s recipe box are where it’s at.
Alright alright, I held out long enough. How about a slew of chocolate chip cookie recipes, eh?
Salted chocolate chip cookies? (with bourbon!)
Or just a classic big and chewy chocolate chip cookie? Personal fave right here.
That’s just a smattering of what I have to offer folks. Search “cookies” in the side bar and revel in the glorious wonders I have to offer you. Happy baking!
