You guys. It was a busy week. I went wedding dress shopping (ZOMG!), we broke our TV (all the epic sads!), I picked up scrapbooking again (lulz), The Fiance got a promotion (woot!), oh and I’ve had an ongoing fight with my kitchen with regards to perfecting panna cotta and caramel sauce >__< I can’t even. But I think I finally got it done last night!
So I’m distracting you with the webs today.
And also this epic picture of Boo dressed as as shark.
If you still have not seen the Uptown Funk dance scene montage do yourself a favor and spend 3 minutes watching it. You’re welcome.
The Fiance spent an exorbitant amount of time on imgur this week and sent me a few gems. Fauxritos facebook trolling is probably my favorite. The comments section is pretty killer too. Also, someone makes the incredibly valid point that it’s alarming how many people think commenting on a brand’s facebook page is the equivalent of policing morality these days. Or that they think this somehow proclaims their superior morality. There are lots of existential questions that could unfold from thinking about this too hard.
I have an “untraditional” engagement ring, though that term I think is silly anyway. And this woman’s post is too real. When we went to find wedding bands a few weeks ago the woman at the [big box jewelry store that shall remain nameless but is a very common man’s first name with obnoxious commercials] actually said to us, “And, you want it to look that?” She was dead serious. I’m still thinking up excellent burn responses that I should have replied to her with. I think I’ll have many more opportunities in the future.
Let’s lighten it up a bit. A graffiti artist’s experiment. Hilarious.
