With the sudden influx of summer weather and the absolutely miserably hot conditions of my kitchen yesterday during an epic cupcake baking spree, I just cannot bring myself to talk about anything that involves turning on an oven. And seeing as all the photographs I have involve ovens (indirectly, of course) I’m going to instead give you a brief look at one of my new favorite restaurants: The Hudson Clearwater.
Chitlins. I just spent a whirlwind four hours in the kitchen making a bajillion different things and I just can’t even open a cookbook right now to copy down another recipe. Instead, I decided I want to incorporate restaurant reviews on the blog. I’m not a huge food critic (I think that’s pretty obvious) but I do know what I like. So without further ado…
To kick off my restaurant reviews section I’m bringing you to my ‘hood in Astoria. Allow me to introduce to you, Queens Comfort.
Hey Chitlins. I just returned from a whirlwind trip to Vegas for the holiday this past weekend and my-oh-my what an interesting little town that is. This was my first time there and I insisted The BF take me around to see as much as possible. Luckily for me, there is a lot to do in Vegas besides gamble. Seriously, this is really lucky for me, because I get ulcers and sweaty palms and panic attacks when it comes to gambling. I do not like to see that much money just tossed around. And if I’m going to spend $80 in ten minutes I’d like to have something to show for it, like a fancy purse or a pair of shoes, thankyouverymuch.
